2. What data this website processes

2.1 Browsing the website

This site is built from self-hosted static files. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and images. It does not load fonts, scripts, or embeds from third-party CDNs, and it does not use third-party advertising or tracking pixels.

Our hosting provider, Vercel Inc., automatically processes standard technical connection data (such as IP address, request timestamp, and requested file) to deliver the site and keep it secure, in the same way any web server does. We do not have access to a per-visitor log; for details on Vercel's own processing, see Vercel's privacy policy.

2.2 The contact form

The form on our Contact page does not submit data to a server. Submitting it opens a pre-filled email in your own email application, addressed to [email protected]. We only receive the information you choose to send once your email client actually sends that message, at which point it is processed as ordinary business correspondence, for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) and/or (f) GDPR (performance of or preparation for a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries).

2.3 Cookie preference storage

If you make a choice in our cookie banner, that choice is saved in your browser's local storage (not a tracking cookie) so we don't ask again on every visit. See our Cookie Policy for details.

2.4 Analytics

No analytics tool is currently active on this site. The cookie banner includes an "anonymous analytics" option reserved for possible future use; if we activate an analytics tool, we will update this policy and the cookie banner before doing so, and only activate it for visitors who opt in.

3. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to restrict or object to our processing of it, to data portability, and to withdraw any consent you've given at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in Germany, typically the authority for Saarland. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected].

4. Data retention

Correspondence sent to [email protected] is kept for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and any resulting business relationship, and as required by applicable statutory retention periods (for example, German commercial and tax record-keeping rules for contractual correspondence).

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the website or our data processing changes. The current version always applies; material changes will be reflected with an updated date once this site is live. Last updated: July 2026.
